Words and Mayhem

Just my thoughts on books I read....

Last Kiss Goodnight

Last Kiss Goodnight - Gena Showalter Really enjoyed this one! Can't wait for book 2

Blood Vow

Blood Vow - Karin Tabke

Review to come but good laws hawtness

Devoured

Devoured - Emily Snow It was okay, it seemed like when it got to the good parts, the book was over.

Death Warmed Over

Death Warmed Over - Kevin J. Anderson Review coming later.

Double Time

Double Time - Olivia Cunning Hmmmm.... Where to start.

I enjoyed reading this story. It was different in the sense, of other Menege books I read, but then the same. It was the same in the aspect of the dynamics of the physical relationship between Trey, Reagan, and Ethan.

Where this book was different, was that Cunning took you on an emotional journey. Trey was so giving and raw with his emotions that I was truly invested in this story in regards to the emotional aspect. I couldn't stop sliding my finger across the kindle screen to get to the next page.

The opening of the story I was in a total, WTF mode, but then I quickly calmed down. I enjoyed how we got to see what the other characters where up to in their relationships and yes, the order of the book did bother me. But didn't stop me from reading.

If you are looking for an emotional ride, filled with some intense sexual encounters and very predictable come-on's this book is for you!

I wonder if she's going to spin off the story and do something with Exodus End... I think Dare would be interesting to get to know... :)

The Dark Garden

The Dark Garden - Eden Bradley This was a good story. I have to say I was more interested in Decker's story than I was in Rowan's story. Both stories were equally good.

Rowan is a domme, who is struggling with a past and I enjoyed the dynamics of the relationship between her and Christian, it was really tough for her but Christian hung in there for the long haul and you have to commend the guy for that.

Their first meeting set the stage for things to come, neither of them could stop thinking about the other, and when the restraints finally came off (no pun intended) it was worth it!

Its a great romance!

To Tempt an Irish Rogue

To Tempt an Irish Rogue - Kaitlin O'Riley Review to come

What He's Been Missing

What He's Been Missing - Grace Octavia I couldn't get into this one... Great writing though.

Rogue Rider

Rogue Rider - Larissa Ione I have to say I was a bit skeptical, as I love Ione, I kept thinking that this book was going to be hard to swallow, and not in a bad way. I didn't want to put the book down, and I enjoyed seeing the new Reseph, then the Old Reseph and even Pestilence when he made an appearance. I felt a little bit of everything when reading this book.

Both characters had a lot going on and they both equally needed healing. The way Ione brings them from their dark place and then out in to their own light, only to bring them together. JUST WOW!

Action was great and now I am equally stoked about Reaver and Harvester's book... GOOD LAWD That's going to be a hot one! Like FIYA!

We get to re-visit with the other horseman, as well as meet new characters, and most of all finding out about Reaver himself, I SO DID NOT SEE THAT COMING! Not even for a second.... I wonder if that was the jedi mind trick that Rissa had played on the sisterhood. Because man it was a shocker!

You really want to pick up this story! It has an amazing ending, and opens up Reaver's story...
